Waste Reduction Workshops

Passionate staff greening their own workplaces are key pieces to the waste reduction puzzle. The Waste Reduction Workshops are engaging, interactive, brainstorming conversations with health-care staff, with the goal of identifying priority actions the team can take to reduce and prevent waste.

Structured as a world café, the workshop aims to develop a staff-owned waste reduction vision that particularly focuses on moving beyond recycling and towards waste repurposing, reduction and avoidance. Attendees get an opportunity to learn about waste management, share waste issues, and collaborate on a waste reduction goal.
